I am a Sydney based techie interested in all sorts of things including building small robots, retro computing, hifi, music, brewing beer, bread and pizza making, arduinos, raspberry pi’s, driving simulators, hiking, camping, cycling, linux and weird lisp like languages.

Why unfold time?

When I look back over what I have done over the year it is easy to forget interesting small projects or things that I have learned. This blog gives me a record, a way to unpack what has happened, and to hopefully share some useful ideas. The name was inspired by a trip around South America many years ago when I realised that doing something new and different every day changed my perception of time. Dreary days drudging into the office for work all compress down to single unmemorable events, whereas the days that stand out are ones that contain unique events. So this is a way to remember all of the different things I have been doing to remind myself not to forget :-)
